The Plating Department at Three Z is in essence the wheels that keep our presses moving. Regardless of the size, amount, timing, or complexity of the set layout, our plate room is up to the task. Running three shifts, to accomodate our press needs, the Pressmen can be assured that any downtime won’t be attributed to plating issues. Utilizing four workstations using the latest version of Preps for press templates, along with our Prinergy workflow from Creo, you can be confident that your job will be processed accurately.

Above...Two fully Auto-loading continuous plate processing lines provide the redundancy necessary for web printing.

Three Creo 3244 Trendsetters drive our department. Two of which are Auto Loaders and the third Manual. These units supply the consistency and unrivaled quality needed for total CTP control. We utilize Kodak’s Thermal Gold Plates in eleven different sizes ranging from 17.5 to 38 inches. We also use the most up-to-date chemistry available from Kodak running in our two fully Auto-Loading continuous plate processor lines. With all this in full blown production, we feel that no one in our industry will outperform Three Z in either quality or quantity.

Averaging over 600 plates per day, and having the capacity to produce over 1,000 per day, we can efficiently stay ahead of the presses.
