The Digital Proofing at Three Z is taken care of by our Desktop personnel. We mainly utilize three brands of top quality proofing devices, Kodak, Epson, and Xante. Using a combination of these devices for specific job needs helps us reduce the customers proofing cost whenever possible.

The Kodak Approval is used on our 4 color process jobs. Although its technology is nothing new to the industry, its quality is still unsurpassed. Producing consistent, accurate, and achievable proofs, the Kodak is considered a (no compromise) proof.

The Epson Inkjet proof is used mostly on jobs using spot color inks, and some lower quality 4 color work. The Epson is a great device with the ability to produce stunning prints. They are also a very productive printer with extremely low maintenance.

The Xante ColorLaser Ilumina is normally used to accompany either the Kodak or the Epson. We use the Xante to show copy changes between versions, instead of printing a high-end proof for each individual lot. The Xante quality is phenomenal for a laser printer, it is also full duplexing which gives the customer a real sense of how the finished piece will appear.
