The Recycling/Baling Department at Three Z literally picks up where our bindery departments leave off. Even with the most efficient press planning, there can still be waste paper involved in web printing. Fortunately, with the implementation of our trim collection system in 1990, and installation of four recycling balers, we are able to easily collect the waste and produce manageable bales that can be shipped out and recycled into a vast number of usable goods. Nearly 100% of the paper waste produced at Three Z goes on to become other recycled products such as, cardboard, OCC board, tissue, and many others.

Each baler is utilized for specific types of waste. Cardboard, paper, etc.

On average we ship out 16 trucks per week to different recycling plants throughout the United States.
